New Years Day 2023, took advantage of completing a training ride in Waikato New Zealand rural location. Using the gravel bike, a friend and I were able to get off the beaten track and explore some mining sites.
As part of our training for the trek to Nepal, part of my own training involves participating in the weekly park run which is a free timed 5km which takes place every Saturday morning. I do highly recommend any runner interested to participate, you can review further at https://www.parkrun.co.nz/.
Now with less than a calendar month before flying out I’ll continue rounding out my training with walking, running and weights.
